Buenos Aires (Agenzia Fides) - A representative of the Bishops of the Episcopal Conference of Argentina (CEA) will be received by newly-elected President Mauricio Macri tomorrow, December 17, for the traditional Christmas and New Year greetings. The meeting will be an opportunity to invite the newly-elected President to face the major problems of the Argentine society. The fight against drug trafficking should be included among the urgent priorities of the new government, according to CEA.
According to information sent to Fides, the Standing Committee of CEA, attended by twenty Bishops, met yesterday for two days, to work on the implications of the reform of the canonical process of matrimonial nullity, which entered into force on December 8.
