Vatican City (Fides Service) – The Holy Father, Pope John Paul II has (26 July 2003) accepted the renunciation of the pastoral government of the archdiocese of Bangui in Central African Republic, presented by Archbishop Joachim N’Dayen in conformity with the Code of Canon Law, canon 401,2.
The Holy Father has (26 July 2003) appointed Metropolitan Archbishop of Bangui in Central African Republic Mgr Paulin Pomodino, until now Bishop of Bossangoa. (Fides Service 28/7/2003 EM lines 38 Words: 478)
