EUROPE/SPAIN - More than 1,000 NGOs from 25 different countries support June 18 demonstration in Madrid in favour of real matrimony and the family

Madrid (Fides Service) - According to the Spanish Institute for Family Policies already more than 1,000 NGOs from 25 different countries have said they will take part in the demonstration in Madrid on June 18 at 6pm organised by the Spanish Family Forum in favour of real matrimony and the family. The slogan is “The family is important. For the right of have a mother and a father. For freedom”. The initiative is promoted and co-ordinated by the European network of Spain’s Institute for Family Policies which is in contact with similar institutions all over the world that have expressed support and participation in the event.
On Thursday 16 June at 11.30am in Madrid the following people will attend a media conference: Sharon Slater, chairperson of United Families International (USA); María del Prete, Vice president of the Latin American Family Network "Red Familiar"; Jean Louis Thès, President of the Institute for Family Policies, France; Lola Velarde, Vice president of the European network of the Spanish Institute for Family Policies and Benigno Blanco, Vice president of the Spanish Family Forum .
