Barquisimeto (Agenzia Fides) - More than 10,000 young people from around the country are participating in the III Youth National Meeting (ENAJO in Spanish) in Barquisimeto (Venezuela).

From August 6 to 9, according to a note sent to Fides, young Catholics from all over Venezuela are committed in moments of study, prayer, dialogue and other training activities in the Archdiocese of Barquisimeto and in the dioceses of Carora, Guanare, San Felipe and Acarigua.

His Exc. Mgr. Luis Armando Tineo Rivera, Bishop of Carora and head of the youth pastoral, stressed that the meeting is the continuation of World Youth Day, because the young people who were unable to attend now have the opportunity to take part in the youth pastoral in the place of residence.

A decisive role is carried out by the parishes of the diocese mentioned above, because it is not easy to manage the reception for many young people, said one of the leaders of ENAJO to Fides. (CE) (Agenzia Fides 07/08/2015)
