Brasilia (Agenzia Fides) - “Mission is to serve” is the Theme chosen in Brazil for this year’s Mission Campaign 2015 (see Fides 28/04/2015), which will culminate with the missionary month of October and World Mission Day. In keeping with the essence of the Message of Jesus, who comes "to serve" (Mk 10,45) and who says "anyone who wants to be first among you, must be slave to all "(Mk 10,44), the Theme is intended to warn anyone tempted by power and recall that the mission of all Christians is service, self-giving and dedication.
Material prepared by the Pontifical Mission Societies Brazil (PMS) to inform and sensitise the faithful can be downloaded and it includes: Campaign presentation, Mission Campaign Poster, Mission Novena, Pope Francis’ Message for World Mission Day 2015, a DVD of missionary testimony, Prayers of the Faithful for the Sundays of October, a series of six special bookmarks featuring missionary Saint .
