Goya (Agenzia Fides) - Hundreds of young people from the north-east of Argentina will give life, from July 24 to 26, to a "mega mission" in the city of Goya, in the province of Corrientes, and the motto will be "Guided by Mary, missionaries for peace". There will be about 500 adolescents and young people of different archdioceses and dioceses of Argentina that will commit themselves to bringing the Word of God and a pilgrim image of Our Lady of Itati to the families in Goya.
The basic aim of the mission is indeed to "bring Christ to families, to make him known and further enrich evangelization".
According to news released by Aica and sent to Fides, the youth will be accompanied by Bishops, priests and religious of their respective dioceses, and will be divided into eight "missionary centers". They will arrive in Goya in the afternoon of 24 July, where they will participate in the opening Mass of the mission presided by the Bishop of Goya, His Exc. Mgr. Ricardo Oscar Faifer. On Saturday 25 they will visit families, in the morning and afternoon. In the evening there will be a march and an art and music exhibition.
