Kathmandu (Agenzia Fides) - UNICEF has provided two medical tents in front of the Dhading Hospital in Dhadingbesi, to meet the demands of the increased number of patients visiting the hospital, especially with injuries related to the earthquake. Among the initiatives the NGO launched the radio program Bhandai Sundai, which in the afternoon focuses on the psychosocial counselling for earthquake-affected children and is conducted by psychologists and specialists who give tips on how to keep the kids busy in games or group activities. The programme has been well received by Nepalese not only in the earthquake-affected districts but elsewhere also. Nepalese from all over the world have called in during the live programming to show support for people affected by the earthquake. Actors, athletes, personalities of Nepal and other public figures have asked to take part in the program to lift the spirits of millions of earthquake-affected children in Nepal.
