ASIA/JORDAN - The parish pastoral Councils answer the questions for the Synod on the family

Amman (Agenzia Fides) - The members of the Pastoral Council of the Catholic parishes in Jordan gathered on Friday, February 27 at Our Lady Center of Peace in Amman to talk about issues and problems regarding the next Synod on the family and answer the questionnaire of 46 questions sent to all local Churches by the Secretariat of the Synod, as a means of preparation and discernment in view of the synodal meeting scheduled in Rome for next October. The meeting was chaired by Archbishop Maroun Lahham, Patriarchal Vicar for Jordan of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, and saw the participation of priests, deacons, religious and laity belonging to the pastoral Councils of Misdar, Jabal Luweibdeh, Jabal Al Hussein, Tla 'Al-Ali, Jubaiha, Irbid, Husun, Smakieh, and Zarqa.
During the meeting, the participants reflected and analyzed the individual questions and then responded to the list of 46 questions, handing the completed questionnaires to Archbishop Lahham. (GV) (Agenzia Fides 02/03/2015)
