Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On 22 December 2014 the Holy Father accepted the resignation from the pastoral governance of the Archdiocese of Dakar (Senegal) by His Eminence Cardinal Théodore-Adrien Sarr, in accordance with can. 401 § 1 of the Code of Canon Law. The Holy Father appointed His Exc. Mgr. Benjamin Ndiaye, Bishop of Kaolack as Archbishop of Dakar (Senegal). (SL) (Agenzia Fides 23/12/2014)
