Cotonou (Agenzia Fides) - To finance the schooling of children in Benin, a group of "wizards" have set up a series of shows for young children who go to the kindergarten run by the NGO Spanish Mensajeros de la Paz, in Cotonou. This is the fifth edition organized for orphaned, abandoned children, or who have been freed from slavery networks or situations of exploitation and mistreatment. Over 2000 people who will take part in shows have already supported the project. Between 2010 and 2014 the money collected has enabled the schooling of more than 40 children in four classes. Mensajeros de la Paz has been operating in Benin for 12 years, carrying out projects to support and protect children. (AP) (Agenzia Fides 28/11/2014)
