Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On 6 November 2014 the Holy Father erected the ecclesiastical province of Dodoma (Tanzania) and appointed the first Archbishop of Dodoma His Exc. Mgr. Beatus Kinyaiya, O.F.M. Cap., who was previously Bishop of the Diocese of Mbulu. The new Ecclesiastical Province of Dodoma will thus have as suffragan: the diocese of Kondoa (now belonging to the province of Dar-es-Salaam) and the Diocese of Singida (now a suffragan of Tabora).
