Cali (Agenzia Fides) - With the slogan: "For peace, what can I do?" For the Week of Peace in Colombia, the Archdiocese of Cali has decided to create a standing committee of "ALIADOS POR LA PAZ", that will work for social initiatives throughout the year.
The purpose of this standing committee is to work to rebuild the social fabric in Cali, in order to transform a violent reality that unfortunately the areas of Santiago de Cali live, says the note sent to Fides.
The committee brings together people from the private sector, government, the world of culture, the Church, grassroot groups and others who seek concrete proposals in order to allow the creation of scenarios for peace through inclusion and social dialogue, pluralism, coexistence, reconciliation and forgiveness.
