ASIA/MACAO - Macao pays tribute to the two Saint Popes, John XXIII and John Paul II

Macao (Agenzia Fides) - With the celebration of the Eucharist, Eucharistic adoration, a photo exhibition, film screenings dedicated to two Saint Popes and their teachings, Macau paid tribute to Pope John XXIII and Pope John Paul II, canonized on April 27. According to information sent to Fides Agency, on 21 and 22 June, the parish of St. Joseph in Macao hosted a series of events organized by the Union of Religious women in Macao, the Association of Catholic schools and the diocesan Commission for the promotion of vocations, in collaboration with Caritas Macao and Opus Dei. The objective was to further understand the two Pope Saints, especially the testimony of their holiness, their contribution to evangelization and the promotion of peace in the world.
