Hong Kong (Agenzia Fides) - Evangelization, Christian initiation of adults, laity and family, as indicated by the Holy Father in his Letter to Chinese Catholics in 2007: these are the main themes that Mgr. John Tong Bishop of Hong Kong, dealt with in his recent Pastoral Letter, released for Christmas 2011 and new Year. According to reports from the Kong Ko Bao (the Chinese version of the diocesan bulletin of Hong Kong), Mgr. Tong has called on his
faithful to apply the teaching of the Pope in the diocese, in the parish, in the family and in life to continue on the path of the "Year of the Laity".
