Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) - On August 20, 2011 the Holy Father Benedict XVI accepted the resignation from the pastoral governance of the Diocese of Port Elizabeth (South Africa), presented by His Exc.Mgr. Michael Gower Coleman, in accordance with canon 401 § 2 of the Code of Canon Law, and appointed Rev. James Brendan Deenihan, of the clergy of Port Elizabeth, Apostolic Administrator sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis of the same diocese. (SL) (Agenzia Fides 25/08/2011)
