Brasilia (Agenzia Fides) - The Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) in Brazil have launched their new Internet portal (www.pom.org.br). The site replaces the previous one that was online for four years. Completely redesigned, itoffers content of texts, photographs, audio and video, to order to give the opportunity for users to navigate in a more attractive and practical way.
In the menu, the main issues of PMS can easily be identified: The Societies ( Missionary Childhood, Missionary Youth and Missionary Union), the blog, Missionary Intentions, News,. In the space at the top of the menu there is a new sentence for daily missionary reflections every day.
The national director of the PMS, Father Camilo Pauletti, believes that the new site, along with social networks, is an important tool for "sharing information, reflection and unity of mission work".
