Rome (Agenzia Fides) - On October 16, Msgr. Jacques Masson died in his home in Rome. Masson served as the French Translator of Fides from 1978 to 2007, when he left the office for reasons of age. Born October 20, 1937 in the French region of Lorraine, he was ordained a priest on June 25, 1966 for the Diocese of Nancy. On September 19, 1979, he was incardinated into the Diocese of Rome.
