EUROPE/SPAIN - Standing Committee of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Spain CEE to discuss missionary cooperation

Madrid (Agenzia Fides) – A statement from the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Spain CEE, a copy of which was sent to Fides, said that the 216th Meeting of the CEE Standing Committee, a meeting of three days, will discuss the possibility of issuing a document on criteria for missionary cooperation. The theme will be presented by Bishop Ramón del Hoyo López of Jaén, who is also President of the CEE Commission for Missions. The Standing Committee will reflect on Catholic schools in Spain, in the light of a report presented by the Bishops' Commission for Catholic Education and Catechesis, presided by Bishop Casimiro Lopez Llorente of the diocese of Segorbe-Castellon.
