Mercedes (Agenzia Fides) – On Saturday, November 7, in the Holy Cure of Ars Seminary in Mercedes (Buenos Aires), there will be a day for reflection and formation for missionary groups, on the theme: “Go and make them all my disciples.” Organized by the Youth Ministry of the Archdiocese of Mercedes-Lujan, the event is aimed at already existing groups, those in formation, and all those who seek to form a missionary group in their parish. As the letter announcing the event says, “we are all called to the missionary vocation, but this implies the need for a permanent formation in order to bring the Word to all our brothers in the best way possible.”
“The objective of the missionary groups consists in being active agents of the New Evangelization of the members of the Church in our communities, as well as other young people.” This attitude should lead us to promote “the formation of new missionary vocations, providing an adequate environment where the laity can live their vocation in community, growing in their formation, spirituality, etc. and carrying out concrete activities of animation and collaboration.” (GT) (Agenzia Fides 29/10/2009)
