Cairo (Agenzia Fides) – On July 9, in the Coptic Catholic Church of Saint Teresa, in the district of Sharabia-Cairo, the Catholic Women's Committee sponsored an educational course on the A-N1H1 flu, given by medical specialist Dr. Nadia Youssef. The speaker explained the spread of the sickness and the methods of prevention. She then explained the role that the Catholic Women's Committee can play in helping society and in learning more about the illness and how to treat it.
The Biblical Society, in collaboration with the Sunday School of the Catholic Patriarchal Eparchy, has organized a retreat for children up to 12 years of age at the “De La Salle” School, led by Bishop Antonios Aziz Mina of Giza. (LM) (Agenzia Fides 17/7/2009)
