ASIA/TAIWAN - Taiwan parish dedicated to the Apostle of the Nations, plans solemn celebrations to close the Year of St Paul

Hsin Chuang (Agenzia Fides) – A great Concert dedicated to the closing of the Year of St Paul will be held on 28 June, vigil of the feast of Saints Peter and Paul, at St Paul's Catholic Parish Church, archdiocese of Tai Pei, Taiwan,. The parish dedicated to the apostle par excellence, decided to celebrate the feast of its patron saint on Sunday 28 June with a solemn celebration of the Eucharist in the morning presided by Archbishop. Hong Shan Chuan, Archbishop of Tai Pei, and the great Concert in the afternoon. Members of the parish confirm: “we have planned a real Roman concert because we are one of the few churches here with an organ”. The parish is celebrating the Novena of St Paul 19 to 27 June. The parish priest Fr. Paolo Costa, FSCB (Priestly Fraternity of the Missionaries of St Charles Borromeo), is assisted by the Sisters of Our Lady of China. The parish runs a kindergarten (Ming Yuan Kindergarten), and cares for the Chapel of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception at Cappella Fu Ren Catholic University and, Le Sheng Provincial Leprosarium.
