Vatican City (Fides Service) - The Pontifical Urban University PUU is academically connected with 92 Seminars/Institutes situated all over the world which provide philosophical, theological and missiological formation for young candidates to the priesthood and the religious life. To promote better and swifter cooperation between the different Institutes and the PUU www.urbaniana.edu Urban college is launching an “Affiliated net” project which will be inaugurated at midnight 2 April 2004. The project provides each Seminary or Institute with its own web site and e-mail address. Thanks to the PUU ‘Affiliated net’ project besides better connection and communication among themselves and with the PUU, seminaries and institutes all over the world will have direct access to the Portal of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples. The objective of this “on line” service is not only to speed up exchange of information but, more important, to enrich the quality of formation. (S.L.)
