Moscow (Fides Service) - At the invitation of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of the Russian Federation, Cardinal Walter Kasper, President of the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of Christian unity, is on a six day visit to Moscow 17 to 22 February. During the visit he will meet Orthodox Patriarch Alexis II. Addressing a meeting of the Catholic Pastoral Council at the Catholic Cathedral in Moscow, in French the German born Cardinal spoke on “Orthodox Christianity and the Catholic Church forty years after the decree on ecumenism Unitatis redintegratio”.
