Hong Kong (Agenzia Fides) - In union with the universal Church, the Diocese of Hong Kong celebrated the World Communications Day on Sunday, May 4, Solemnity of the Lord’s Ascension, with the theme chosen by His Holiness Benedict XVI: “The Media: At the Crossroads between Self-Promotion and Service. Searching for the Truth in order to Share it with Others.” The Catholics working in the media in Hong Kong emphasized the importance of paying special attention to justice and truth, thus being the voice for the weakest and poorest members of society.
