ASIA/CHINA - Four religious sisters from the Congregation of St. Joseph take perpetual vows on the Solemnity of the Ascension

Shi Jia Zhuang (Agenzia Fides) - On the Solemnity of the Lord’s Ascension, May 1, the beginning of the month of Mary and the feast of St. Joseph the Worker, 4 religious sisters of the Congregation of St. Joseph, in He Bei took their perpetual vows. The Congregation of Saint Joseph, of the Diocese of Shi Jia Zhuang, in the province of He Bei, was founded in 1991 and has 35 members. Among them, 16 have perpetual vows, one is a novice, and 2 are postulants. They perform pastoral services in the parishes and Catholic charity organizations. They are also active in the clinics.
