Tai Yuan (Agenzia Fides) - “This is the third torchlight for evangelisation in the Cathedral of Tai Yuan, in honour of the Pauline Year.” This was how the leaders of the diocese described the faith formation course that took place in January. Over 150 faithful participated in the course, which was organised by the Cathedral of the diocese of Tai Yuan. Family and Faith, Society and Faith, and Youth Formation were the central themes discussed in talks given by three priests. They also spoke on “Spirituality and Faith,” “The Media and Evangelisation,” and “Society in harmony and the Church in harmony.” At the start of the course, there were only 80 people, but with time, many other faithful began to attend and in the end, the number doubled to more than 150. Among the participants were also catechumens that are preparing to be Baptized this Easter. Before the course was held, the diocese also organised another 2 encounters in the parishes, for discussing topics of evangelisation, in preparation for the celebration of the Pauline Year.
